Septic alarm response
If You have a septic alarm sounding, it means that either there is a component malfunctioning in your septic system, or a higher volume of water than usual has recently been introduced to the system. All septic alarms have a silence button or switch on the panel. The first thing you should do is silence the alarm. The next thing you should do is decrease water usage in your home until you have figured out why the alarm is sounding.
The most common reasons for a false alarm is a breaker being switched being shut off, or an unusually high volume of water being used in a short period of time. If these causes have been ruled out, it can be a more complicated issue that may need to be checked out by one of our certified technicians. We can quickly pin-point the problem, and in most cases, fix it while on site without the need to go for parts or materials, saving you money and worries of not being able to use water or back ups.
